armadillo scute earrings

Hey boo! This listing is for one pair of handcrafted brass and bone earrings featuring beautiful armadillo scutes.

To start these beauties I coat the scutes with epoxy, drill holes in each one and string them together on a piece of brass wire. Next, I cut all the brass wire pieces that we need for the design to the appropriate length. Then I form each hanging layer piece into the perfect shape, making sure they all match up at the top so they will hang perfectly together. Once I have all those pieces done, I form the top hanger piece that they will hang from. Next I get to put all the pieces together, which is definitely my favorite part! All that's left to do now is add the 20G earring hooks that I pre-make out of brass or 14K gold filled wire (I'll let you decide) and ta-da another pair of BANGIN babes is born!
 
They measure 2 3/4 inches long (including the earring hooks) and 1 3/4 inches wide.
