the CLASSIC hair pin
Hey babe! This listing is for one handcrafted brass hair pin.
Here at BANGIN jewelry we love to give back, so we decided to raise some money for those in need through the sale of one of our favorite products, the HAIR PIN! Each month we select a different style of hair pin and donate all of the profits from the sale of that specific hair pin to a different grass roots organization. This month we have chosen the CLASSIC hair pin! And we have chosen BLACK GIRLS SMILE as our organization! If you would like to know more about this organization you can visit their website at www.blackgirlssmile.org or visit them on instagram @blackgirlssmile.
Are you looking for a super classy, quick and healthy way to add a little flair to your everyday hair? Well look no further! This hair pin boasts a simple design that is just the right amount of elegant and casual, so no matter where the day takes you this beauty will fit right in. It's super easy to use and with just a little practice you will be on your way to enjoying excellent all day hold that doesn't damage your hair. Now, you may be wondering if this baby will work with your hair type, and the answer is YES! It doesn't matter if your hair is long or short, thick or thin, curly or straight, this hair pin will work for you. It comes in four different sizes for you to choose from to ensure you get the perfect fit for your specific hair. Basically, the amount of hair you have will correlate with the size you'll need. For example if you have a short style and thin hair you're gonna want to go with the shortest hair pin, if you have mermaid hair that's long and thick you will need the longest one. You may fall somewhere in the middle, so just choose accordingly and you'll be golden. This is my all time favorite hair accessory (seriously, I even sleep with it in!) and I know you're going to love it too!
I start these beauties by cutting the 8G brass wire to the appropriate length. Next I use my baby belt sander to form each end of the wire into dull points that can easily glide through your hair without poking your scalp. Once the ends are good to go, I give the whole piece a thorough sanding then bend it in half around my ring mandrel. I finish it off with a little hand forming to get the shape just right, and boom! another BANGIN babe is born.
